Highmark Painting Co. is a residential and commercial painting contractor specializing in high-end interior and exterior work. This self-initiated project explores how visual identity can help a service business differentiate itself and attract premium clients.
Approach
I developed a complete brand identity system including:
- Brand applications across business cards, vehicle wraps, uniforms, and marketing materials
- Primary logo mark featuring a custom “H” monogram
- Secondary and tertiary logo variations for different applications
- Color palette designed to stand out in a category dominated by blue and generic contractor branding
- Tagline: “Visible Excellence Is Our Signature”
Design Rationale
The identity balances professionalism with approachability. The bold color choice and refined typography help the brand stand out from typical contractor branding while remaining accessible. The flexible logo system ensures consistent application across different formats and sizes.
