The album is a response to current events of the past few years. The feeling of being controlled, especially during the COVID pandemic and economic downturn, is still bringing out the human reaction to fight back against systems that are broken but still aim to remain in power.
This album cover explores themes of frustration and pressure without endorsing violence, capturing the tension many people feel when pushed past their limits.
I used imagery of a reactive dog (typically docile until provoked) as the central metaphor. The misregistered printing effect and distressed typography reinforce the sense that something isn’t lining up right.
The design balances aggression with restraint, creating visceral impact while avoiding imagery that could be misinterpreted.
